Touching the Untouchable (India)

Our first film project ever captures the story of Rev. Devadas Mekela and his family. Pastor Mekela was born into Dalit (Untouchable) family and raised in poverty. Through the power of God, he has been raised up to touch the untouchable with the love of God. Ministering to orphans & widows, planting churches, supporting pastors, running a school, giving medical camps in the tribal areas and much more area all part of Pastor Mekela and his family’s vision. Our film tells their story.

Yadumu: Long Life in Eastern Africa (Uganda)
January 18,  – February 6, 2007

There is no greater humanitarian crisis facing the world today, than the horrific effects of the AIDS virus on the population of Africa. The lack of education about this disease in Africa has been like dry brush to a wildfire . . . But God has been raising up faithful servants who are working tirelessly to stem the effects of this disease, training hospice workers, educating civilians, and caring for the dying. This project will document the work of a number of different people and organizations who are the hands and feet of Jesus in a place that David Livingston once called "the open sore of the world".
